The Samsung Galaxy S4 was released last 26th of April, just 5 days ago. The S4 already reached 10 million pre-orders in the first 2 weeks after its announcement. And here are the S4’s specifications.
The body is 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm and weights 130 g, 3 g lighter than the S3. The screen size is 5 inch, but sometimes stated as 4.99 inch which features a PenTile RGBG Full HD Super AMOLED with 441.46 pixels per inch. Has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as protection.
The sound system comes with a Mono speaker with Qualcomm DAC or Wolfson Micro WM5102 audio chip depending on the version and a 3.5 mm jack.
S4 comes with 16 GB, 32GB or 64GB internal storage, and is compatible with a microSD card up to 64GB memory.
Has GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth (with A2DP, EDR, LE), NFC, Infrared port, WLAN, USB and a speed of HSDPA, 42.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps.
Has a 13 MP 1080p Full HD Video Recording, autofocus, LED flash, and check quality. The front camera, 2 MP 1080p@30fps, features dual video call.
The Galaxy S4 features Google’s Android mobile operating system with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz “Nature UX” GUI. The names of the Samsung software are usually named with an “S” following the function and a battery of 2600mAh with an optional Qi wireless charging.
The S4 comes in 2 variants that differ primarily in the internal hardware:
The GT-l19500 and SHV-E300S version will feature Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa (octa-core) 5410, while the GT-19505 will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600.
