OnePlus, a descendant of the Oppo company doesn’t look to be slowing down its reigns even after the tech company released a limited stock version of the OnePlus 3T for a fashion house, Colette in Paris.
The tech company which based on demand agreed to release the midnight black color variant of the OnePlus 3T into the market, although in limited quantity, has hinted its fans on what to expect on the successor device, the OnePlus 5.
Recall that there had been major debates on the possible naming of the successor to the OnePlus 3 devices as several tech enthusiasts and analysts had discarded the option of the OnePlus 4 for the OnePlus 5 based on the Chinese belief that the number 4 is associated with bad luck.
Coming to the OnePlus 5 device, the tech company which is expected to launch another flagship device this year has been rumored to be planning on fitting the device with 6GB of RAM and a possible 8GB of Ram variant.
According to reports, the tech company may be looking to double the amount of RAM featured on most flagship devices already found in the market as against what was featured on its OnePlus 3 smartphone and the 3T variant.
Recall that the tech company also pulled a major stunt with the OnePlus 3 device, but the latest device from its quarters is said to be coming into the market as one of the first few devices to sports 6GB of RAM.
The report regarding the expected phone also indicated that the device might come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with some other premium upgrades over the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
Most likely, the report suggests that the tech company may be looking at exploring its possibilities with the Snapdragon 835 chipset which is the latest and by far one of the most powerful processors in the mobile world.
The use of the Snapdragon 835 processor suggests that the OnePlus 5 will come running on an octa-core CPU coupled with Adreno 540 graphic processing unit.
For the display, the OnePlus 5 will be expected to boast of a screen resolution pegged at 1440 x 2560 pixels and boosted from the 1080 x 1920 (FHD) featured on the previous model released by the tech company.
As for pricing, the report indicated that the tech company might demand as much as $500 for the OnePlus 5 device which is expected to feature major design upgrades, especially with thinner and smaller bezels compared to what was featured on the OnePlus 3 and 3T.
Also on the camera front, the OnePlus 5 has been rumored to be coming into the market featuring a dual-camera setup on the back panel as against the previous reports which suggested that it may feature a 23MP single-lens camera sensor on the back.Google+
